The alternative patterned squares are in a York Tudor rose design. The patterned border appears to be stylised birds and leaves.
The board is 18" (45.5cm) wide, with 2" (5cm) squares. The boarder is 1" (2.5cm) wide and the board is 3/4" (2cm) deep.
Construction is possibly resin, with a wood effect.
The reverse of the board is covered with green felt.
The board does show some signs of age related wear, but overall in an excellent condition.
