This beautiful vintage fine China tea trio, by Roslyn China company, includes; cup, saucer and side plate. It is decorated in the 'Authentic World Famous Wheatcroft Roses - by Henry Wheatcroft' and is No.6 of 6, Peace. The mark on the base dates from 1958-63.
This decorative cookware and tableware is perfect for collectors or anyone who appreciates vintage pieces. This fine bone china cup, saucer and side plate, adds a touch of elegance to any tea time.
The pattern is a white base, with a yellow rose with pink edges rose design to the cup, saucer and side plate. The inside side of the cup is coloured in pastel yellow. The trio's condition is fantastic for its age, however the gold edging to the rim of the cup, saucer and plate do show signs of wear, as to be expected.

Roslyn China
Originally Reid & Co, in 1946 they were incorporated as a limited company and the business name changed to Roslyn China. As with many china companies at the time they were part of the Thomas C Wild group of companies, with Thomas E. Wild and Frederick J. Wild as partners. They had overseas agents in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. As part of rationalisation the Roslyn China business was closed in July 1963.
There are no visible cracks or chips. However, the item has been previously owned and is in good condition, with typical age related marks.
